Partey Impresses As Athletico Keeps Alive Their Liga Hopes

Spain based Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey maintained his fine for Athletico Madrid as they kept alive their title hopes.


The imposing midfielder again showed class in a star studded Diego Someone’s side in a 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano.


The capital side maintained their joint top spot in the LA Liga chart along side FC Barcelona who later forced a 0-2 away win at Betis.


Thomas Partey, who has been the subject if many top European sides ahead of the summer transfer window followed up his cameo display in the UEFA Champions League with another commanding display at the heart of the pitch for the Rojiblancos.


The 23 year old talented midfielder, who is reportedly been courted by the Ghana Football Asociation for a possible black stars invitation, joined Athletico from Almeria at the start of the campaign but has so far flourished at the Calderon.


The Chelsea and Liverpool target has so far registered 3 impressive strikes in his opening 20 matches for the double chasing Athletico.







New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has reportedly casted his scouting network over the Spanish born Ghanaian prodigy.
