David Accam On Target Yet Again For Chicago Fires

Returning Black Stars attacker David Accam maintained his impressive scoring form in the MLS with another beauty for Chicago Fire in their seven goal thriller with Philadelphia Union.

The crocked nimble footed striker missed majority of the opening half of the league which forced him to miss Ghana’s AFCON qualifiers but has since announced his return with two goals in his last two matches.

The 26 year old Chicago Fire centre forward registered his 5th goal in just 8 matches in an injury ravaged campaign.

Accam’s solo goal in the second minute took the win away from Philadelphia Union but a treble from Roland Algberg sent the host back to the summit in a 4-3 win.

Accam came to close to join English Premier League side Stoke City but pulled out of the deal in the latter stages.

The pocket size attacker racked in 10 strikes in 26 appearances in his debut season since joining Chicago from Allsvenkan side Chicago Fire.
