Misr El Makasa’s Ghanaian import Nana Poku extended his scoring run in the Egyptian Premiership with his 10th strike in eight games.
The free scoring forward followed up his continental heroics with a consolation for his side in a 2-1 defeat to Military Al Shorta in the penultimate round of league matches in the championship.
The 23 year old attacker extended his 100 percent goal scoring run for Misr with his 10th league strike in eight successive matches.
The former Shorta attacker registered three goals in as many appearances for his relegated side to earn a dream move to Misr El Makasa at the start of the campaign.
The Ghanaian however could not have asked for a brighter start to life in Makasa with a debut goal away to Mokawloon before extending his scoring run with a goal each in the next five games.
Nana Poku completed his impeccable form in the division with two successive braces against Dakleya and Ismail before adding Military to his casualty list.
Makasa maintained their eighth place on the log ahead of the last round of matches over the weekend.
