Paul Acquah Itching For The Return Of The League

Hearts Of Oak’s midfielder Paul Acquah is anxiously awaiting the return of the domestic Championship after an impressive start to life in the premier league.


The 21 year old attacking wide man joined the rainbow family from third tier side Top Talent FC but has since registered seven appearances in the top flight.


The trickery winger expressed his hunger for the return of the championship ahead of the second leg with an eye on regular starting berth with the Phobians.


The former Top Talent FC’s midfielder admired the high tempo football played in the top flight and revealed his readiness to shoulder more responsibilities when the second round resumes.


The confident speaking Acquah rued the early season injury which restricted his season’s appearance but remains hopeful his time will surely come in the colours of Hearts Of Oak.


“Hearts of Oak played very well in the first round of the league but my injury affected my performance at the start of the season.


It was difficult at the start of the season but I came back strongly afterwards.


I am eagerly awaiting the start of the second round of the season”, Acquah told sports crusader.


The attacking midfielder added, “Every single player in the league is chasing the top spot with his team and I am not an exception to that. I am anxiously waiting for the second start of the season ”.


Hearts Of Oak enjoyed a bright start to the 2016 domestic championship but has since toned down their monstrous form in the last few matches.


The Phobians are chasing their first league crown since 2008.
