Former FA Boss Salutes Nyantakyi

Former chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has congratulated Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, incumbent president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) after his successful election onto the  Executive Council of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).


Mr. Nyantakyi secured one of two spots available for Africa after polling 31 votes, whilst Almamy Kabele Camara of Guinea, polled 37 votes to pick the first slot.


Dr. Tamakloe highlighted the glamorous personality traits of Mr. Nyantakyi and was not surprised as to how he has gained recognition and built an enviable constituency at the CAF and FIFA levels.


“Mr. Nyantakyi is a very competent person, he is hardworking as well, which made me relinquish my position as the chairman of the Black Stars management committee to him.


“With this appointment, I believe he is going to raise the flag of Africa high at the FIFA level.”


The Former FA boss, expressed his readiness to render his unflinching support to Nyantakyi in order for him to succeed and become the most decorated football administrator the country has ever produced.
