Kwadwo Asamoah Stretched-Off In Juventus Win

Crocked Black Stars midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah, is set for another extended spell on the treatment table after being stretchered off for Juventus in their 1-0 win at Palermo.

The Turin-based versatile midfielder came off the bench for the reigning Italian champions in the final 20 minutes of the game but had to leave the pitch with five minutes left on the clock.

The former Udinese star man seems to have torn a muscle on his turn which left him in pain, moments after replacing Bosnian hitman, Miralem Pjanic.

Asamoah has been battling injuries in the past three seasons which has resigned him to a super sub for the Bianconneris.

An own-goal from Eduardo Goldaniga returned the Old Ladies to the summit of the log in the division after just six rounds of fixtures.

Asamoah missed the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League final show down due to such injuries but has since been reinstated in the current campaign for the Turin giants.
