DEMOTED: Joe Addo Appointed Hearts Scouting Co-Ordinator

Hearts of Oak have appointed former player of the Club, Joe Addo as the new Scouting Coordinator footballcrusader.com can exclusively reveal.

Addo who used to occupy the role of corporate affairs manager, will now scout for players for the Club and also help the head coach of Auroras to unearth raw and new talents.

This decision was arrived at last week during one of the many Board/Management meetings held by the Club. The Club earlier this month formed a five-man Strategic Committee which is headed by Vincent Sowah Odotei with Gerald Ankrah as the secretary.

Addo who is in the USA on vacation with his family, is yet to be informed about the decision of his new position, but Club sources have mentioned that it is likely the former Black Stars defender will reject it and walk away.

Addo, a few months ago, was rumoured to have been sacked by the Club’s Board, following his inability to bring on board sponsors after over a year as the Club’s Corporate Affairs Manager, an action that was met by stiff opposition by Board member Nyaho Tamakloe.

The Phobians are yet to sign any player this offseason with most of their players already out on transfer.
