Aduana Stars defender Wahab Adams was voted the man of the match in their G-6 Invitational tournament game against Hearts of Oak on Thursday night.
The defender was one of the many reasons the Phobians could not find the back of the net in the game despite their many attacks on goal.
His combination with other Aduana defenders and goalkeeper Joseph Addo did not go unnoticed by the organizers who decided to adjudged him the man of the match.
For his prize, he received a plaque from the headline sponsors of the tournament First Trust Savings and Loans.
Wahab in a chat withfootballcrusader.com at the team’s hotel, mentioned that he is confident that the award will spur them on to go all out in the next game on Saturday.
