Newly promoted Premier League club Dreams FC resumed training on Monday following the return of the team from the Christmas and New Year festivities.
Coach CK Akonnor took the team through the paces with physical drills to check the fitness levels of his players in the morning session at the Kweiman School Park.
Players who were given permission to join their family for the yuletide period on December 19 were exempted from ball work as the focus of the session was on restricted towards boosting fitness.
The session, Dreams’ first for the year 2016 was observed by Executive Director Kurt Okraku and Chief Executive Officer Ibrahim Dossey.
Dreams FC continue to prepare their side for their maiden campaign in the Premier League despite the challenge to their promotion.
Tema Youth have lodged a case at the Court for Arbitration for Sports seeking to revoke Dreams’ qualification to the top flight over allegations of the use of an unqualified player.
This looming litigation has however done little to deter management of the club in preparing the side for their debut campaign in the Premier League.
