Accra Hearts of Oak Board member Frank Nelson says the board will only sign players they deem will be an upgrade to the current playing body.
The Phobians have sacked close to 8 players since Kenichi Yatsuhashi took over about four months ago, and has replaced some of them with notable names in Samuel Yeboah and Cosmos Dauda.
The 2000 CAF Champions League winners has also signed last season’s Division One league player oc gbe year, Samudeen Ibrahim.
“We know what we are doing and all I can say is that the fans should be patient because we want the best for the club,” Frank Nelson told Accra-based radio station, Citi FM.
He added that the Club has been dormant in the transfer market because they are looking for quality players.
“When there is a quality player in the market and the coach feels he will improve the team we will bring him in.
“We are not just going to buy because everyone is buying.”
