GN Bank Division One League side, Great Olympics have set their sight on making an immediate return to the Ghanaian topflight following their relegation last season.
Despite their slow start to life in Ghana’s second tier league, the Accra based club are currently joint top of the table in Zone Three with 2/3 of the season still to be played.
The Wonder Club are on 19 points, same as Okwawu United but new Head Coach, Karim Mingle Ocansey says his side are determined to surmount all challenges for that all important slot to the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking to the media after Olympics 3-1 win at Roberto FC last Sunday, Ocansey expressed optimism about his team’s chances of securing promotion at the end of the season.
“Our target is qualifying to the Premier league”, he said.
“We came back from the Premiership to division one and we want to go back immediately. I see it happening, surely it will happen”, Ocansey added.
