Ghanaian forward Nana Poku sealed group stage football for his Libyan club with a powerful finish in a 1-1 clash with Egyptian giants Misr El Makasah.
The Ahly Tripoli forward got the only goal for his side to seal qualification to the group phase of the CAF Confederation Cup after they drew a blank in the first leg in Tripoli.
The Ghanaian import levelled the scores with his opening strike of the campaign to cancel out an opening goal from the Egyptians and book a place in the group phase on a 1-1 aggregate score line as they qualified on the away goals rule.
Opoku and his jubilant Tripoli based side will now have to wait for the draw for the group stage on May 24 where they could possibly meet Medeama SC, TP Mazembe and any of the remaining five clubs.
