GPL: Dreams Captain Targets Top Four
Talismanic captain for Dreams FC, Abdul Bashiru, has set his sight on a top four slot at the end of the season after a promising start to life in the top flight.
The energetic fullback has starred prominently for CK Akunnor’s charges in their maiden season and wants a top four finish as his team’s reward.
The fan favourite for the Dawu-based side has earned nationwide reputation for his exploits down the flanks and has since pledged to improve on his team work.
“We have not been bad new comers at all. Our performance in the league speaks for us and we can only build on it.
“It is our hope to seal a top four finish at the end of the season as a reward for our performance”, Bashiru told Sports Crusader.
Dreams FC stormed their way into the top flight of Ghana football at the first time of asking from GN Bank Division One League.
The Dawu-based side has since earned a reputation across the nation for their strong performance in the league.
