Ashgold SC centre forward, Alhassan Nuhu, has predicted a flourishing season for the reigning champions next season after a dreadful 2016 campaign.
The Miners collapsed in their bid to defend their GPL trophy but their star attacker envisages a prosperous campaign in the upcoming season.
The former New Edubiase player admitted having an indifferent debut for the “Aboakesie” boys but remains optimistic of another commanding season when next season kicks off.
The twin traded Bekwai for Obuasi at the start of the campaign but has since struggled to put his best foot forward all season.
In an exclusive interview with Sports Crusader on his personal debut season with the four-time Ghanaian domestic champions, Alhassan Nuhu pledged to showcase his talent in the upcoming season.
“It was a good experience in my first season though we struggled at the start of the season.
“We struggled in the first half of the season but this second half has been good but hopefully by next year, things will get better and stronger”, the twin half told Sports Crusader.
Alhassan Nuhu and his twin, Fuseini Nuhu, stormed the domestic championship last season with New Edubiase to earn a career changing move to Obuasi.
The pair have yet to fulfil their potential since their short trip to Obuasi despite glimpses of their immense talent.
