Samuel Opoku Nti has submitted his handling-over notes to the Board of Asante Kotoko, Sportscrusader.com can confirm.
The Board of the Porcupine Warriors wrote to Opoku Nti late last month to drop his working tools after June 30 and submit his handing over notes to the Board, and he has complied with the directive.
According to Sportscrusader.com sources, the Lord of the green turf’ as he is affectionately called within the football circles for his audacious ability on the ball during his playing days, presented his notes last week before the team played Wa All Stars.
Opoku Nti was appointed interim General Manager of the Asante Kotoko as a successor of Dr. K.K Sarpong in September 2013 afternoon after the latter resigned from his post after he was accused of financial misappropriation.
He was named the substantiver General Manager in December 2014. During Opoku Nti’s reign as head of the management of the Porcupine Warriors, the club won the Premier League and the MTN FA Cup in his first year.
They defended the league crown in his second spell before losing it out to Ashanti Gold last season.
