Our Coaches Are Doing ‘Surveillance’ On Kotoko- Liberty Skipper

Liberty Professional’s inspirational captain, Samuel Sarfo has disclosed that the club’s technical team is doing a ‘Surveillance’ work on Asante Kotoko ahead of the two side’s Ghana Premier League Match Day Seven fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this weekend.

According to the officer of the Ghana Police Service his team is aware of happenings in the camp of Kotoko stating that “They have started making noise”.

Speaking exclusively to SportsCrusader.com after Tuesday morning’s training session; the 25-year old defender further stated that despite the issues surrounding the Porcupine Warriors, Liberty Professionals are solely focused on the football on the pitch.

“Our able men, coach George Lamptey and Felix Aboagye are our commanders for the tough duel so they will do the surveillance before we will know how to attack them[Asante Kotoko]”, Samuel Sarfo noted.

“Everybody has a problem but we are enduring. Expect discipline performance, Good football and new form of tactics from our coaches” he added.

On Whether or not Kotoko’s off field issues will benefit the Dansoman based side, Sarfo said, “Our concentration is just on the field nothing else. Problems or no problems the game is coming on and we are preparing for it”

Kotoko Wrong To Sack Duncan

Football administrator, Abbey Pobee in an interview with sportscrusader.com has mentioned that Ghana premier league side, Kumasi Asante Kotoko were wrong to ask coach, David Duncan to step aside.

Kotoko under Duncan has started the 2015/16 Ghana premier league season poorly for the first time in 15-years and the recent defeat in match week 6 to bogey side, Aduana Stars, saw the ex-Hearts of Oak coach, relieved off his coaching duties.

Pobee known for his hard-talk mentioned that Kotoko shouldn’t have sacked Duncan as it was too early in the season hit the panic button with just six matches played.

He said, “it’s getting too much with Kotoko quests of hiring and firing at will. Kotoko should have known better the calibre of coach they were appointing.”

He added, “it is not proper for Kotoko to ask Duncan step aside – Is that part of the contractural agreement? Did the contract have a performance based clause in there?
