Techiman City ace trainer Yussif Abubakar has told his players to be wary of the dreaded Dreams FC, when they host the Dawu based side on Sunday in match day five of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
The former Heart of Lions head coach cautioned his players about the impressive form shown by their guest in the previous two fixtures honoured on the road and has rallied the Techiman based side to force defeat down the throat of CK Akunnor’s men.
Dreams FC sored four points from the two away matches played in the league ahead of their trip to Techiman City, which has forced coach Abubakar into warning his boys ahead of their clash over the weekend.
Both teams joined the top flight at the start of the current campaign and are really enjoying life in the opening stages of the season with two home wins each to their belt.
Speaking to sportscrusader ahead of the visit of CK Akunnor’s charges, Coach Yussif Abubakar said, “Dreams FC have been very good away from home. They have played extraordinarily good across the young season and to have won four points from two away matches, they must be very very good as a unit”.
“They are a very organised side and playing with the confidence. We just have to be cautious of them when they visit the Nana Ameyaw Park over the weekends,” he stated.
Dreams announced their arrival at the top flight with a fully deserved 0-1 victory away to Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs before snating a vital point at the Tema Stadium after a late collapse.
The Dawu based outfit were held at home to a 1-1 by Wa All Stars and will be looking to recoup those points when they head to Techiman.
