Why Pray? - Archbishop Nicholas-Duncan

What is prayer?

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines it as;

a. an address (as a petition) to God or a god in word or thought.

b.  an earnest request or wish.

I believe there is more to it. Prayer is communication with the divine creator of the universe. It is a two-way thing. When you open your mouth to talk to someone you expect them to communicate back to you. When they don’t, you either get offended or you feel you did not speak the right words.

It is same with God. It is more of a relationship than just making requests and petitions.

Behind a lot of breakthroughs, there are always supernatural powers that bring about the results of such breakthroughs.

Watch the exceptional man of prayer, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, also known by some as “the Apostle of Strategic Prayer” talk on the importance of prayer.

Be inspired to turn your prayer mantles on.
