Ghanaian FIFA referee, Joseph Lamptey, has been named a member of the officials to handle the Women Olympic football match between Sweden and Columbia.
Lamptey, one of Ghana’s best referees, will be adding to an increasingly attractive CV, when he observes proceedings from touchline as the fourth official in the Olympic Game.
Fahad Al Mirdasi from Saudi Arabia, will be the center referee and will be assisted on the flanks by compatriots, Abdulah Alshalwai and Mohammed Al Abakry.
The Amazonia Arena Stadium will be the venue for the game on Thursday, August 4.
