West Ham are considering a bid for German international and former Bayern Munich striker, Mario Gomez as they await news on Swansea’s Andre Ayew after reportedly making a bid of £20m.
The Hammers are awaiting news from Swansea whom are yet to respond to the offer tabled by their English Premier League rivals for the Ghana international .
The Hammers are in the market for a top notch striker and after they failed in their pursuit for AC Milan’s Carlos Bacca they are looking forward to sign Gomez after his club Fiorentina are eager to offload the German due to his high wages and would be willing to part ways with him in return for £7million.
Ayew joined for Swansea on a free transfer deal and went on to succeed in his first season by scoring 12 goals in his maiden appearance in the English Premier League
