The Black Stars of Ghana have rescheduled their first training session from Monday to Tuesday, October 4, at 10:00 hrs GMT ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifier against the Cranes of Uganda.
The team’s first session was rescheduled to accommodate the delay in arrival to camp of majority of the players. As at Monday morning, only a handful had reported to camp for Friday’s clash in Tamale.
In an interview with Sportscrusader.com, the spokesperson for the GFA, Mr Sanni Daara, said: “The Black Stars were due to train today (Monday), but due to the minimal number of players that had arrived, it was virtually impossible to kick-start their first training session.
“Majority of the players are expected to arrive Monday evening, ” he concluded.
