Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says he and his teammates are wary of the threat the Uganda Cranes pose ahead of Friday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier to be played at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
Uganda in their two recent meetings with Ghana in African Cup of Nations qualifiers, won in Kampala and drew in Kumasi and they have certainly established themselves as a major threat for Ghana in past recent years.
Agyemang-Badu didn’t hesitate to highlight the quality the Uganda Cranes posses, he said: “The Cranes of Uganda have the quality to make the encounter a difficult one for us, but we also have the quality to match them , this World Cup opener is very important to us.”
Agyemang Badu also pleaded with the fans to come in their numbers to the Tamale Stadium and support the Black Stars to victory.
