Photos: Osu Mantse Graces April "Accra Works Out" Session

Osu Mantse, His Majesty Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona VI joined this month’s fun packed aerobic session dubbed, ‘Accra Works Out’ at the Multi purpose court of the Accra Sports Stadium.


The event organised by Ghana’s premier event house, Primeval Media comes off on the last Saturday of every month as qualified fitness instructors guide participants through healthy works out.

Primeval media-powered monthly fitness session dubbed ‘Accra Works Out’ came off today (April 30) on the multi-purpose court of the Accra Sports Stadium.

The primary aim of the fitness session is to enable employees of corporate Ghana de-stress at the end of each month in an atmosphere of fun, while networking for immediate and/or future benefits.

This month’s workout session was graced by Peace Ambassador and former Black Stars skipper, Stephen Appiah, the Osu Mantse, His Majesty Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona VI as well as ex-Black Stars midfielder, Laryea Kingston.

Many other dignitaries including Ghana Black Stars team doctor, Dr. Prince Pamboe and also members of the Teshie Celebration Fitness Club were present.

Participants were led by licensed fit instructors and they were taken through various aerobic regimes vis-a-vis good music from Cil Soundz to make the exercise fun as always.

Those in attendance were refreshed after burning the calories.







The next edition of the fun filled aerobic exercise comes off on May 28 as the venue still remains the multi-purpose court of the Accra Sports Stadium.

Accra Works Out This April

The April edition of the monthly aerobics session dubbed ‘Accra Works Out’ comes off this Saturday, April 29 at the multi-purpose court of the Accra Sports Stadium.


The event, put together by event powerhouse, Primeval Media, is aimed at enabling employees of corporate Ghana de-stress at the end of each month in an atmosphere of fun, while networking for immediate and/or future benefits.

Families, meanwhile, can join in the fun as it will be a bonding moment, considering the upcoming Workers’ Holiday, in commencing a protracted weekend of fun.


This monthly workout session, instituted over three years ago, has received huge patronage not only from corporate personnel and keep-fit clubs, but sports icons and celebrities like “Rap Doctor” Okyeame Kwame, ex-Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, Naa Ashorkor, Praye Tia Tia (aka Big Jay), Adjetey “Pusher” Anang, M.anifest, Miss Malaika 2014 contestants, Laryea Kingston, Augustine Arhinful, C.K Akunnor, Black Stars assistant coach, Maxwell Konadu, GFA spokesperson Sannie Daara, etc.

Participants will be led by highly qualified instructors through various aerobic regimes, including the famous ‘azonto session’ led by the Azonto Twins, vis-a-vis good music from Cil Soundz to make the exercise fun as always.


There will also be refreshment after the work-out for all participants.

Easter Edition Accra Works Out Held

Primeval media-powered monthly fitness session dubbed ‘Accra Works out Easter edition’ was held today (March 26) on the multi-purpose court of the Accra Sports Stadium.


The primary aim of the fitness session is to enable employees of corporate Ghana de-stress at the end of each month in an atmosphere of fun, while networking for immediate and/or future benefits.


This month’s workout session dubbed the Easter edition saw corporate employers and employees put on temporary hold their festive plans and shake off the accumulated stress from work.



Ghana Black Stars team doctor, Pamboe advised participants on the healthy benefits and relevance of exercising besides the networking reward individuals get through socialisation.


Participants were led by licensed fit instructors and were taken through various aerobic regimes, including the famous ‘azonto session’ led by the Azonto Twins, vis-a-vis good music from Cil Soundz to make the exercise fun as always. Those in attendance were refreshed after burning the calories.


 


Next month’s edition will be on April 30 at the same venue.
