Adomah To Be Involved In Swap Deal

Middlesbrough have offered Ghana international, Albert Adomah, to Aston Villa for Adama Traore, who is reported to be having his medical this morning, according to the Press Association.

Last week, the winger rejected a move to Aston Villa after they failed to reach an agreement with Boro on the player

Former Barcelona winger, Traore, made it clear to Villa boss, Roberto Di Matteo earlier this summer that he wants to quit the Villa Park.

Adomah Turns Down Purported Championship Move

Middlesbrough and Ghana winger, Albert Adomah has rejected a move to Championship side, Aston Villa, according to HITC Sport.

Aston Villa and Boro had not agreed terms on the player, but the talks had begun and the player and his representatives were given permission to talk terms, but Adomah – whose current deal is due to expire next summer – decided against the switch.

Negotiations between Boro and the player are set to continue, amid speculations of interest coming from Premier League sides, Burnley and Crystal Palace.

The Ghana international turned down Boro’s offer of a new three-year deal last week because the offer was below his expectations.

Jordan To Partner Adomah At Villa?

Aston Villa have initiated talks with Middlesbrough over their (Boro’s) winger, Albert Adomah, according to reports.

The 28-year-old was left out of the 18-man squad by head coach Aitor Karanka, with Adam Reach instead being named on Boro’s bench at The Hawthorns.

Speculations over the weekend linked the Ghana international with a move to Championship new boys, Aston Villa ahead of Wednesday’s transfer deadline.

The Ghanaian is a popular figure at The Riverside and has played nearly 150 games for the club since joining from Bristol City in 2013.

Talks over a new deal have not progressed well and Villa have now made a move, and are ready to offer him more than Middlesbrough are willing.

If the deal should go through, he will join his fellow national team mate, Jordan Ayew who was the top scorer for Aston Villa last season with seven goals.
