K.P Boateng Set For Las Palmas Return

Kevin-Prince Boateng will return from injury to play for Las Palmas in tonight’s La Liga game against Malaga.

The 29-year-old Ghanaian missed his Spanish side’s 2-1 loss to Sevilla last week.

However, the former Black Stars forward returned to training in midweek and is set to play a role for the Yellows.

“He has improved and I think he will be available for the game,” coach Quique Setien said in a pre-match press conference.

Boateng, who joined Las Palmas last month as a free agent after being released by AC Milan, has scored two goals in as many La Liga appearances thus far.

Kevin-Prince Boateng, after his debut goal for Spanish side, Las Palmas, became the only current player to have scored in La Liga, Premier League, Bundesliga & Serie A.

The Ghanaian midfielder started his Spanish La Liga career in some style, scoring on his debut for Las Palmas in the opening game of the season against Valencia.

The Ghanaian joined Las Palmas from AC Milan, after an unsuccessful stint at the latter following his dispute with German Bundesliga club Schalke 04.

Boateng has represented Ghana in their last two World Cups but has since retired from international football.
