Stephen Appiah And Sol Campbell Pay Courtesy Call On Ex-President Kufuor
Former Ghana Black Stars midfielder and captain, Stephen Appiah led a team of former footballers notably, ex-England defender, Sol Campbell to pay a courtesy call on former president John Agyekum Kufuor.

Appiah is leading a crusade to foster unity as Ghana goes to the poll to elect a new president and parliamentarians and this event has been put together by Ghana’s best event organisers, Primeval Media. The former Juventus and Fenebarche midfielder believes giving back to the nation the love and support he received as a footballer and those that he is enjoying now is just the right thing to do.

Former president John Agyekum Kufuor expressed delight at meeting Appiah who referred to as “my son” and a legend in Sol Campbell who he has seen on the television screens only.

The former head of state also welcomed former Dutch international, George Boateng who he called a “prodigal son” jovially.

Sol Campbell will join Stephen Appiah at the State Banquet hall on Monday, 18th January as the pair officially launch the Unity match slated for June this year. The former Tottenham defender will pay a visit to ex-president Jerry John Rawlings on Tuesday, 19th January before he departs for England.
