Hearts Coach, Kenichi Has Shocked Me - Fawaz Zowk

Former Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Fawaz Zowk has confessed that he is shocked by the start the club has made to the  2015/16 Ghana Premier league.

The Phobians have won three of their opening four league matches and have drawn the other, and this, Fawaz Zowk is impressed with.

When Hearts first appointed Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi he promised to lead fans of the 2000 CAF Champions League winners to force him out of the club when they started recording some dismal results in pre-season.

But he has now changed his mindset on what he earlier called and has now ask fans of the club to throw their weight behind the Japanese-American even in difficult times.

“It has been a very good performance in the league so far, i can’t remember the last time we [Hearts] won three matches and drew one at the beginning of a season. The players have shocked me, the technical men have also shocked me and I hope that this spirit will continue,” Fawaz Zowk told Kumasi based Otec FM.

He added: “We are looking forward to winning the league. Nothing will apiece the supporters including myself if we end  the season without the league”.

Fawaz Zowk also called on supporters not to abandon the club when difficult times arise.

“I will say the supporters should go to the stadium to support the team and encourage the players. I am entreating them to try and travel with the team to away matches as well so that the morale will always be high,” he said.

“I want to add that when the team is not playing well, they should be patient and keep on supporting because they have truly proved all of us wrong with their output so far,” He stated.
