Ampem Darkoa Ladies attacking sensation Priscilla Adobea has revealed drawing inspiration from Udinese midfielder Agyemang Badu.
The 17 year old forward rose to fame when she dispatched six goals in one match in the ongoing National Women’s League.
The talented teen prodigy however revealed idolizing Udinese’s Ghanaian import Emmanuel Agyemang Badu as against any of the female global super stars.
The Ampem Darkoa rampant forward single handedly mauled Subaya Ladies by scoring two hat-tricks in 90 minutes to confirm her stature as one of the revered forwards on the local scene.
Two additional strikes away to Ash Town Ladies made it eight goals in the opening two fixtures for the teen star who has finally opened up on her sudden rise in fame.
“My role model in the game is Emmanuel Agyemang Badu of Udinese,” she told sportscrusader.com.
“He is somebody that inspires me even from afar and I look up to him anytime I take to the pitch”, she said.
The Ampem Darkoa forward added, “I want to be the first female from Africa to win the Women best player award in the near future. Football brings happiness to me anytime I take to the pitch”.
“I have been motivated by the love I have for the game and it has brought me this far.” she noted.
“My secret in the game lies on the fact that I don’t play football for the money involved but to show my capabilities and my God given talent. It has been one of the reasons why I always want to score in any match I play,” she said.
Priccilla Adobea is already an established Ghanaian international at the tender age of 17 having passed through the junior ranks in grand style.
The 17 year old scored two solo goals for the Black Queens in the double header win over Tunisia in the recent Women African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
