The gallant Black Starlets of Ghana are expected to arrive in country in the early hours of Wednesday after their triumphant participation in the just ended four nation Independence Cup in Namibia.
The Nation’s U17 side stormed their way in the mini tournament to lift the glittering giant trophy with a combined aggregate score line of 15-2 to confirm their utter dominance in the invitational tourney.
The impressive Starlets capped their monstrous participation in the tourney with all three awards announced at the end of the end of the competition.
The Ghanaian spanked Namibia U17 side 8-0 and followed that with three more straight wins over their hapless opponents to fine tune their preparations ahead of the upcoming qualifiers.
The triumphant Ghanaian have since left the shores of the host nation Namibia and are expected to arrive at the Kotoka International Airport by 10:15am tomorrow(Wednesday, March 30, 2016) en route Johannesburg and Adis Ababa.
Paa Kwesi Faabin’s side are expected to break camp briefly before regrouping for qualifications to the continental youth championship later in the year.
