Adjei Impresses As Anderlect Progress In UEFA U-19

Ghanaian youngster Emmanuel Agyei Sowah played a crucial role for Anderlecht in the UEFA U-19 league as they sealed a last four spot at the expense of FC Barcelona.

The 18 year old full back lasted the full throttle as Anderlecht spanked their catalan giants 2-0 to book a semi final berth on Tuesday night.

The highly rated youngster registered his third straight European appearance for the Belgium side as they marched into the last four of Europe’s elite club tourney.

Agyei, the junior brother of TP Mazembe’s Daniel Nii Adjei broke into the Anderlecht set up at the start of the season and has since blossomed into a regular fixture for the reserves side in recent games.

The young full back is expected to be included in the senior side of Anderlecht for the start of the 2016/17 Belgian Pro League, where he will join compatriot Frank Acheampong.

Black Stars attacker Frank Acheampong inspired Anderlecht to a vital three points away to Saint Trudent in the Belgium top flight.

The 22 year old continued his impressive form for the title chasing Anderlecht in a 1-2 deserving win for the high flying visitors. Frank Acheampong has been an ever presentfixture for the second place Anderlecht since shaking off an early season injury scare.

The Black Stars attacker lasted 75 minutes in a highly involving night before leaving the pitch for Bran Nuytick.

Acheampong failed to register his name on the score sheet but his attacking credential were plenty for the fans to adore and sing his name all game long.
