Frank Acheampong powers Anderlect to vital away win

Black Stars attacker Frank Acheampong inspired Anderlecht to a vital three points away to Saint Trudent in the Belgium top flight.


The 22 year old continued his impressive form for the title chasing Anderlecht in a 1-2 deserving win for the high flying visitors. Frank Acheampong has been an ever presentfixture for the second place Anderlecht since shaking off an early season injury scare.


The Black Stars attacker lasted 75 minutes in a highly involving night before leaving the pitch for Bran Nuytick.

Acheampong failed to register his name on the score sheet but his attacking credential were plenty for the fans to adore and sing his name all game long.


Youri Tielemans opened the scoring for Anderlecht from the spot just one minute into the tie after a lung busting run from Acheampong.


The spirited home side however levelled the game 24 minutes into the first department with a clinical finish from Reuben Fernandes after a complete team work from Sint Triuden.


Substitute Iddrisa Sylla however won the game for Anderlecht with six minutes remaining as they close the gap at the top to just two points.
