Hearts Management And Supporters Agree To "Cease Fire"

An agreement has been reached between the Management of Accra Hearts of Oak and the Supporters front for the avoidance of comment on the future of Kenichi Yatsuhashi, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.

The agreement was reached at a meeting at the club’s secretariat in Accra on Wednesday.

There have been wide spread rumours that management of the Accra based club are considering firing their Japanese Trainer due to acts of insubordination but that has not gone down well with the supporters.

However, the leadership of Hearts of Oak’s supporters body have continuously rebuffed any attempt by management to fire Kenichi.

Following their 1-0 home defeat against Asante Kotoko last Monday, the Strategic Committee of Hearts of Oak conveyed a meeting with the supporters to discuss the future of Kenichi.

But a definite decision was not reached and both parties have agreed a principle not to comment on the future of the former Aspire Academy trainer until the Board take a decision.

Hearts of Oak seem to have found their rhythm under Kenichi Yatsuhashi after six years of continuous disappointment.

They are currently second on the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League table behind Leaders Wa All Stars after 10 games played.

Hearts Fan Dies Of Shock

A staunch fan of Hearts of Oak is reported dead after he suffered shock, less than 24 hours after his side’s 1-0 defeat at home to Kotoko on Monday.

Hudu Yahaya, nicknamed, Alhaji Car, founder of the Nima Alaska Chapter 3, was pronounced dead at the Ridge Hospital on Tuesday.

He was rushed to the medical facility after he collapsed during the painful and heart-wrenching defeat at the Accra sports stadium.

Unfortunately he failed to recover from the shock and passed onto glory on Tuesday morning, close associates have confirmed.

“Yes it is true that one of our members by name Alhaji Car owner has been pronounced dead this morning at the Ridge Hospital in Accra”, former management member Aziz Futah confirmed to gazzetaghana

“He collapsed during the game and was rushed to the Hospital where he died.”

The deceased will be buried on Tuesday afternoon in line with Islamic tradition.

Hearts To Face FA Sanctions For Crowd Violence

The Ghana Football Association (GFA), could sanction Hearts of Oak, after fans engaged in acts of violence during their match against Wa All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium, last Sunday.

Irate fans of the Phobians, threw missiles on the the pitch in protest against certain decisions by the the match day officials.

Play was halted for about seven minutes in the first half and a board member of the club Vincent Sowah-Odotei had to plead with the fans to stop.

The Ghana FA has always preached that hooliganism have no place in football and teams found guilty would be penalized.

Clubs found guilty in the past two years have been sanctioned by the football governing body, and it is likely Hearts would not go unpunished.
