EPL: Ngolo Kante Heads To The Bridge

Highly sought-after French midfield prodigy, Ngolo Kante, has agreed to a five-year deal to join Antonio Conte’s revolution at Stamford Bridge.

The 25-year-old France international enjoyed a spectacular 2015/16 season at the King Power stadium to draw the attention of Europe’s elite.

The former Caen defensive midfielder, however, traded his comfort at the reigning English champions for a new challenge at the London outfit to mark a remarkable 12-month turn around.

Chelsea edged out a number of clubs seeking the signature of the dimunitive hard tackler ahead of the new season.

His arrival, in part, could pave way for the departure of lanky midfielder, Nemanjia Matic, who endured a torrid time last season.

A reported 36 million Euros deal has been agreed between the sides and is expected to be finalised within the next 48 hours.

Kante registered 40 appearances for the Foxes in their strange surge to the championship.

Chelsea are in advanced discussions to sign N’Golo Kante from Leicester City this summer, according to reports.

The Blues are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Antonio Conte prepares for his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Kante was one of the Premier League’s standout performers last season after his consistent displays in central midfield for Leicester City helped to propel Claudio Ranieri’s men to the top-flight title.

Kante has been touted as a target for both Chelsea and Arsenal in recent weeks amid the speculation about his future at the King Power Stadium.

Now, respected football journalist Tancredi Palmeri has claimed that Chelsea are in advanced talks about the possibility of bringing Kante to Stamford Bridge this summer in what would be Conte’s first signing in west London.

Juventus will make a move for Leicester City star N’Golo Kante -if Paul Pogba leaves this summer.

Pogba is wanted by all of Europe’s top clubs, including Barcelona, Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Juventus are keen to keep hold of their star midfielder but are aware that his departure could bank them around £100m.

And if the Italian champions do decide to let Pogba go, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, they will make a move for Kante.

The midfielder has been a revelation for Leicester this season after arriving last summer from Caen for just £5.6m.

The 25-year-old is now a target for Arsenal and Real Madrid, with his asking price a reported £30m.
