GN Bank DOL: Olympics Coach Talks Zone 3 Competition

Head Coach of Accra Great Olympic, Kasim Mingle Ocansey has stated that the zone 3 of the GN Bank Division One league is very competitive and that every team is doing well.

The zone comprises of 6 former top flight sides after Heart of Lions were relegated from the Ghana Premier League along with Olympics last season.

Although the Wonder Club are currently joint top of zone 3 along with Okwawu United on19 points, Head Coach, Kasim Mingle Ocansey believes his side have to prepare well to get the needed points at home.

Speaking to the media after Great Olympics 3-1 win at newly Promoted Roberto FC, Ocansey said, “We are going to plan for your next game, which we’ll play at home”.

“Football is something. We come to someone’s home to beat them, so if we get home, we have to prepare well so that we will get the needed 3 points.

“The league is very competitive. you see every week the table changes. So I think everybody is doing well”, he added.

GN Bank DOL Zone 3 Preview (Week 6): Top Of The Table Clash As Lions Host Okwawu United

The GN Bank Division One League bounces back this weekend with some interesting match up across the country.

Top of the bill in Zone Three and arguably for the entire weekend is the top of table clash between Heart of Lions and Okwawu United at the Kpando Park.

Joint top of the Zone on 10points each, both sides will be looking to have some breathing space away from each other with a victory.

At Tema Stadium, Tema Youth will look to put their early season struggles behind them as they look play Mighty Jets. A victory for the Tudu side will take them close to the top.

At Kweiman, new entrants Vission FC will test their resolve against former Premier League campaigners Amidaus Professionals while Roberto FC squaring off against Sporting Mirren in Sagakope.

In the other Games, Okyeman Planners will host Pampanga Pure Joy, Great Olympics play Kotoku Royals and Danbort will travel to Legon to face Nania FC.
