Evans Mensah"s Black Stars Call Up Good For Inter Allies

Sportscrusader.com can confirm that Inter Allies prodigy, Evans Mensah has received a late call up into the Black Stars.

Evans Mensah, 18, has been outstanding for the Eleven Is To One in this year’s Ghana Premier League, winning man of the match in three of Inter Allies’ five league matches.

His talent has not gone unnoticed by the technical handlers of the Black Stars, and they have called him to join the players in camp.

A close source at the club told sportscrusader.com that Mensah will join the Black Stars in camp, and he will train with the team this evening at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“Evans’ call up didn’t come as a surprise to anyone at the club because we know what he can do,” the source who wanted anonymity said.

“Inter Allies have always produced players in the national teams in this country. The only difference here is that, he has been called to the Black Stars,” he said.

“And don’t forget that he has won three man of the match awards in all our league games at home. His inclusion into the national team is a morale booster for the entire playing body and management,” he added.

The number of local players in the senior national team for the upcoming twin AFCON 2017 qualifier against Mozambique is now three, after Samuel Tetteh and Richard Ofori were named in the initial 23-man squad named by Avram Grant.

Evans Mensah began his career with the Right to Dream Academy before moving to Inter Allies.
