“I am trying to add goals to my game as an attacker across the season.

“To defend the award I have to play better than I did in February since my colleagues are also improving on regular basis.” Mensah told sportscrusader.

On his maiden call up to the National Under 20 team, Mensah remains modest of braking into the first team action with improved performances.

“The Under 20 call up will boost my confidence level across the season as a player.

“It shows that people are watching me from on weekly basis and I have to lift my game to seal my place in the team.

“I am really excited at getting the opportunity to show my worth as a player in the national colours.” Mensah revealed.

The lanky forward stormed the GPL last season with his quick feet for then Papa Kwesi’s Inter Allies on his arrival to the domestic scene.
