Gerald Arkson Hail Fans Of Liberty For Their Support

As the Ghana Premier League continue to record impressive turn-outs at the respective league centers across the country, Liberty Professional midfielder, Gerald Arkson has hailed the fans of the Dansoman based club for their support.

The Scientific Soccer Lads despite succumbing to a 2-0 defeat against a less fancied Bechem United have gone on to record with impressive performances including back to back home wins against Inter Allies and Techiman City and an away draw at Wa All Stars.

The Carl Reindorf Park recorded its highest crowd this season when Liberty Professional beat newly promoted Techiman City by a loan goal last Sunday and 18-year old midfielder Gerald Arkson says the effort of the fans is the reason behind their form at home.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with SportsCrusader.com, Arkson said, “We are glad seeing them [the supporters] on that Sunday”

“Their effort made me and my team mates push harder and harder. They came to cheer me up promising them that I am not going to fail them this season”, he added.

Liberty Professional next game will be at the Sogakope WAFA Arena where they will be playing the West African Football Academy.
