Inter Allies trainer Herbert Addo has described his side’s 2-2 draw with newly promoted Dreams FC at the the Tema Stadium on Sunday as a ‘fair result’.
The Tema based side had to twice come from behind to rescue a point against Dreams FC and the veteran coach admitted after the game that his side didn’t expect Dreams to play the way they did.
Speaking to the press after the game, the former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko coach praised his team’s character.
“We didn’t expect Dreams to come out fighting and playing very hard because our boys are used to playing good football. But unfortunately, our game didn’t come today” he said.
” We tried to play but Dreams were too aggressive.
“We went to the second half, spoke to the boys but unfortunately we made a mistake and considered a second goal. after that we made a few changes and we were able to get the equalizer. we should have even gotten the winner” Herbert Addo added
The veteran further stated that over anxiety caused his side in the dying embers of the game.
“Towards the end, we were over anxious and the anxiety caused us. but all the same the draw was a fair results” he concluded.
