Vice President of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Mr. Isaac Koomson, has confirmed his ambitions of manning the top spot of the Association in the upcoming General Elections.
The current GHALCA Veep promises to breath life into the Association given the mandate ahead of the much expected keenly contested Chairmanship slot.
Mr. Koomsom will be battling for the highest seat in the Association alongside current boss Alhaji Raji and a possible bid from Ashgold’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Cudjoe Fianoo.
The ambitious Mr. Koomsom commended the good work done by the current administration but pledged to bring transparency and integrity into the Association once mandated by the clubs.
The confident speaking GHALCA Veep promised soliciting for slots at the Executive committee of the Ghana Football Association when mandated.
“My administration will bring on board transparency and integrity to the Association.
I will bring welfare schemes to the clubs and administrators.
“I will take GHALCA to the club and the clubs to GHALCA.
I will make the Association vibrant and fight for election of members onto the Executive Committee on the GHALCA platform.” Koomson told sports crusader.
The GHALCA Veep played a starring role in the organization of the inaugural First Trust GHALCA G6 invitational tourney, eventually won by Asante Kotoko at the Essipong Stadium.
The GHALCA General Election is slated for next month as the race for the presidency heats up.
