Lartey Suffers Heavy Defeat On His Return from Suspension

South African based Ghanaian defender Lawrence Lartey suffered a heavy defeat on his returned to action for Ajax Cape Town from suspension.

The 21 year old centre hustled helplessly in a 3-0 thumping by Plantinum Stars on Sunday night.

The former Ashgold defender picked up two yellow cards for Ajax Cape Town away to Polokwane City in a 1-4 heavy win and has since missed the last three fixtures for the mid table PSL side.

Lartey, joined Cape Town after playing a starring role for Bashiru Hayford title winning Miners across the 2014/15 FCPPL.

The 2014/15 FCPPL defender of the season has since extended his fine run into his early life at Ajax before picking that red card.

Lartey has since registered 11 appearances on his debut season in the PSL after joining in the recent transfer window.

Ajax maintained their tenth slot despite that heavy spanking while Platinium moved into the third slot on the PSL with eight matches to end the season.
