Liberty Professionals Target Top Four

Ghana Premier League outfit, Liberty Professionals are targeting a top four finish this season after enduring a difficult campaign last term.

The Dansoman based club struggled for most part of last season, before securing their premiership survival at the tail end of the campaign.

Liberty Professionals have made a promising start to this season with one win, a draw and one defeat in their opening three games of the campaign and hope to build on this.

Head coach George Lamptey is confident they can attain this height after they managed a draw at Wa against high flyers All Stars last Sunday.

This was a game many favoured the home side to win, but the Scientific Soccer lads proved otherwise as they dominated for most parts of the game and should have won.

“I am satisfied with this result as many did not give us a chance of doing well against All Stars who have been very good so far this season,” Lamptey said after last Sunday’s game.

He added: “Our target this season is to finish in the top four and we have the right personnel in trying to achieve that”.

Liberty Professionals will play debutants Techiman City in their next Ghana Premier League game at their Dansoman base looking for their second win of the campaign.
