Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs defender, Kingsley Nteng has rebuffed suggestions there are saboteurs within the team playing down the relevance of coach J.E Sarpong since gaining promotion from the 2014/15 GN Bank division one league season.
Head coach J.E Sarpong after match week 2 defeat to New Edubiase at Obuasi accused his players of playing woefully in a bid get him sacked but he will advise himself immediately before the axe falls on his head.
The former Accra Academy physical education teacher, nicknamed ‘Shapiro’ in his post match interview after defeat to Edubiase said, “as for me I don’t supervise losses, after two defeats if we don’t win against Hearts in match week 3 then I will advise my self unlike Jose Mourinho at Chelsea before he received the sack.
But the right back, Nteng who was very impressive in his sides goalless draw against Hearts denied any saboteurs in camp but rather committed players focused on keeping the ‘Abontoabontoa’ club in the premier league.
He said, “there are no saboteurs in the camp and no one is getting coach Sarpong sacked. We are all committed to ensure survival in the league and after picking up our first point of the season against Hearts we believe things are going to change now and get better.”
