Our Focus Is To Stay In the DOL- Vision FC

Despite recording two wins in their opening matches of the GN Bank Division One League, the President of newly promoted Vision FC, Mr. Michael Osekre has revealed that the primary objective of his club is not to qualify for the Ghana Premier League next season.

According to him, the club’s short-term objective is to churn out good talents for the European market as well as for Ghana’s junior national teams.

Speaking to SportsCrusader.com in an exclusive interview, the young football administrator stated that their mission in the 2015/2016 GN Bank Division One league is to survive this season.

“I have been saying time and time again that we are in the Division One not to qualify this year. We are preparing ourselves to for the next three years”, Mr Osakre said, adding that, “our focus is to stay in the league and that’s what we are doing. We are trying to amass every point that we can in the first round”

Vision FC did not lose a single game in the third tier of Ghana football on their way to qualifying for the GN Bank Division One league.

They won their first two games of the Division One campaign against PureJoy and Danbort and will next travel to Dunkwa to play Dunkwa United on Match Week 3.
