The Sports Crusader Lower Leagues Team of the Week is an initiative introduced by the fastest growing sports web portal in Ghana to demonstrate how Ghanaian players perform for their various clubs abroad.
To set the records straight, as we have always done, players are selected based on the following criteria:
1. The Coefficient of the league they play
2. The competition they are in (If they are not playing league matches)
3. Consistency.
4. The competition they face from other players playing for the same position.
5. The positions they play
6. The number of minutes played in the game, and
7. The contribution of the player to the success of the game.
Albert Adomah resurrected the promotion chances of Middlesbourogh with a last minute crucial assists for the Teesiders in the Championship to maintain his place in our team of the week for the fourth consecutive week.
The forward is however surrounded by a host of stellar performers over the weekends that saw Moses Odjer maintained his fine form for the struggling Salernitana in the Italian Serie B.
The demunitive attacking midfielder has been pulled back to the midfield to provide flair alongside the workaholic Bright Christopher Addae of Ascoli. The duo will be joined by former Wa All Stars lanky attacker, Kwame Nsor, who continues to blossom on weekly basis for Seirang in the Belgian second teir league.
