Tuffour Call On Fans To Support Kotoko

Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender Tuffour Frimpong has called on fans of the club to rally behind them on Friday when they host Sekondi Hasaacas at the Baba Yara Sports stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors has started poorly in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League, securing only two (2) points out of a possible twelve (12) – their worst start in 42 years.

The fans of the Kumasi-based are frustrated about their dismal performance and has called for the sacking of head coach David Duncan.

Edwin Tuffour Frimpong thanked the fans for their unflinching support, but wants them in the stands on Friday to help them end their barren run.

“I want to say thank you to Kotoko supporters and we also want to say sorry to them because we have played four (4) games and we agree that it’s a bad start from we the players.

“We accept that but we are also appealing to them to come to the stadium on Friday.

“We don’t know what will (exactly) happen on the pitch on Friday but we’re assuring them that it will be a win for us. They say the only constant thing in life is change and change it will be on Friday.” he said.

Edwin Tuffour Frimpong was one of Kotoko’s new signings during the transfer window.
