The Women’s League Committee of the Volta Regional Football Association has set 8th May 2016 for the commencement of the Volta Regional Women’s League.
The Region’s Women’s League Committee would meet representatives of women clubs in the on the 16th of March 2016 at the Volta Regional Football Association’s (VRFA) secretariat at 9:00am to deliberate on player registration and closing date of affiliation fees.
The resumption of the league is in line with VRFA chairman, Francis Dogbatse’s promise to revive the Women’s League in the region.
The league was absent last season due to lack of funds and sponsorship.
