We Are Getting Too Arrogant - Lawrence Tetteh

Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, Founder and President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach has observed that pastors in the country have become “arrogant”.

Speaking to Morning Starr host Nii Arday Clegg Wednesday, Dr. Tetteh said that the level of arrogance in society is not just limited to the clergy but the various professionals as well.

The international evangelist went on to say that it is important for Ghanaians to come to the realization that social morals are decaying and therefore the need to take stock and revert to the righteous ways of doing things.

“I think we are getting too arrogant and proud; everybody, trust me, all of us. I will not exempt anybody, even we the clergy. Our journalists have become arrogant, our pastors have become arrogant and our politicians have become very arrogant and we all need to come to that place where we can thank God for how far he has brought us,” he said.

He stressed that although Ghanaians have a right to rant over the error-ridden brochure, they must not also gloss over the “unity that the ceremony portrayed” with former Presidents JJ Rawlings and John Kufuor attending in the presence of sitting president John Mahama and other political party executives such as Nana Akufo-Addo.

“We should look at the positive aspects.”
