We Played For A Draw - Hearts

Kenichi Yatshusashi, head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak has admitted his side travelled to Cape Coast in their match week 3 game against Dwarfs targeting just a point (draw).

The Phobians went into the clash against the ‘Abontoabontoa’ Las as favourite to win after a blistering start to life in the Ghana premier league under the Japanese-American gaffer.

Hearts failed to find the back of the net for the first time this season in a closely contested match but coach Yatshusashi was satisfied with the goalless draw.

During his post match interview, Kenichi mentioned the result was not three points dropped but a point gained.

He said, “we definitely came here at least to record a draw but when we score a goal we will take all the three points should it be available. What happened in the past is done as our focus was on this game.”

Hearts next game is at their favourite Accra sports stadium in match week 4 against Bechem United.
