Inter Allies Veep Sends Get Well Message To Crocked Midfielder

Inter Allies Vice President Delali Senaye has sent a get well message to on loan crocked midfielder Lord Ofosuhene.

The emotional club chief charged his on loan Falkenberg midfielder to come back stronger after a career threatening injury ruled him out for the rest of the Swedish campaign.

The Ghanaian import was stretched off for Falkenberg over the weekends in their 2-1 away defeat to Sundsvall.

Ofosuhene joined the Swedes on a six month long loan spell from Inter Allies but saw his Allsvenkan dreams shuttered just three matches into the season.

Emotional veep of Inter Allies, Delali Senaye however urged his on loan explosive midfielder to develop a strong mental set up and come back stronger than before.

“The entire Inter Allies family are with him in prayers during this trying times for him. We are behind him in prayers and I personally wish him a speedy recovery ahead of time. He should stay focused and make a strong come back after the injury setback,” Delali Senaye told sportscrusader.com.

Lord Ofosuhene played the opening two fixtures for Inter Allies before switching camp to Falkenberg in the Swedish Allsvenkan on a six month loan spell.

Inter Win First Seria A Match Played Without Italians

Inter Milan’s victory over Udinese was the first ever Serie A match with no Italians starting for either team.

Striker Stevan Jovetic scored twice as Inter came from a goal down to boost their chances of remaining in the top four.

Cyril Thereau volleyed Udinese ahead, with Jovetic equalising from Mauro Icardi’s cross.

Coach Joseph E. Sarpong of Ebusua Dwarfs has a full list of players to choose from as the play their third home game of the season.

Inter Allies welcomes back Lord Ofosuhene after serving a three match suspension, Gockel Ahortor, Evans Mensah and Emmanuel Nettey should also be available for selection, but, there are doubts over goalkeeper Kwame Osei who has a foot injury.

Bottom club Ebusua Dwarfs will be looking to end their winless streak in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) this season when they host Inter Allies at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast on Saturday.

The Abontua Abontua Boys have drawn two and lost three of the five games they have played so far, and will be eager for their first three points in front of their home fans.

Lead striker Bright Luqman will hope to continue with his fine scoring form after finding the net against Medeama SC in the league and Eleven Wise in the MTN FA Cup competition last Sunday.

Inter Allies have yet to win an away game this season- losing to Liberty Professionals and drawing with New Edubiase United in their two games.

The urgency to win this one will be high on the camp of both sides, and, it should be an interesting game to savour for fans in and around the Central regional capital.

GPL Week Five Preview: Inter Allies v Hearts of Oak

Inter Allies Will Be Difficult But, We Will Be Ready – Coach Yatsuhashi

Accra Hearts of Oak helmsman, Kenichi Yatsuhashi expects a difficult game at Tema when they play Inter Allies in a Match-Day Five fixture of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) on Sunday.

However, the gaffer said his charges will be ready for that encounter as they seek a win that would ensure that they retain their leadership of the GPL table.

Hearts are unbeaten in their opening four games of this campaign and visit the Tema Stadium on Sunday to play one of the most formidable sides at home in the Ghanaian top-flight.

“We know this will be a difficult assignment, but, this is to be expected as there are no easy games at this level of competition, he said ahead of Sunday’s game.

He added: “We played them in pre-season and, it was not an easy one as the game ended 1-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium, we therefore expect them to be even tougher at home”.

The Japanese-American however insists that by game time, they will be ready for the action and expects his charges to live up to the billing.

“We are taking the games as they come and Sunday is another opportunity for us to showcase what we have been doing, and, we hope we do not disappoint our fans”.

GPL Preview: New Edubiase United – Inter Allies

New Edubiase United will welcome Inter Allies to the Len Clay Stadium at Obuasi in a Ghana Premier League (GPL) Match-Day Four game they will look to win to restore some confidence in their camp.

They lost their second away game of the competition 0-1 to Bechem United last weekend, and, will seek to bounce back with a win at home.

They have been very formidable on home soil in recent seasons and their fans will hope they continue to press home that advantage as they go for the three points.

Coach Adotey has assembled a young squad that will blossom with time and the enthusiastic nature of their play should set them well up for the points at stake

Inter Allies have not won a game since the opening day of the season, and, will need to offer very stiff opposition if they are to pick something out of this game.

Dreams FC Won"t Appeal Hayford"s Suspension

Dreams Football Club has announced that it won’t appeal the suspension of midfielder Emmanuel Hayford over his suspension from their next Ghana Premier League (GPL) game.

Hayford was involved in a brawl with Inter Allies’ Lord Ofosuhene late in the second half of their Match-Day Three GPL fixture which ended 2-2 at the Tema Sports Stadium last Sunday.

Referee Yaw Ametepe sent both players off the pitch for that brawl. The Ghana FA Disciplinary Committee announced a four-match suspension for Hayford’s unsportsmanlike conduct.

But Dreams FC says they won’t appeal the decision.

Below is a statement released by the club on Thursday night.

The management of Dreams FC will not appeal against the suspension of midfielder Emmanuel Hayford. The 23-year-old has been banned for four games on the account of the unsporting behaviour he exhibited during the premier league game against Inter Allies on Sunday.

Hayford was sent off by referee Yaw Ametepe after clashing with Inter Allies player Lord Ofosuhene following a cynical tackle on captain Abdul Bashiru. The decision comes on the back of a meeting held on Thursday.

“The decision is obviously not a positive one but we have decided to allow it to stand” Head of Communications Henry Asante Twum told dreamsfc.com.

“Hayford has been brilliant since he joined us on transfer deadline day.”

“Undoubtedly he has been one of our performers so far and we would have loved to have him in the team for Saturday but that won’t happen so we have to move on.”

Emmanuel Hayford is expected to sit out of the games against Wa All Stars, Techiman City and WAFA.

Hearts/Allies game ends in stalemate

A pre-season friendly match between Accra Hearts of Oak and Inter Allies ended one all at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Hearts scored first through defender Vincent Atinga who headed in a cross from George Yamoah in the 60th minute.

The Tema based side equalised through Sierra-Leonean winger `Prince Barry who capitalized on a blunder by Hearts goalkeeper Soulama Abdulai in the last quarter of the game.

Hearts created several scoring chances afterwards but failed to utilised them.

The match forms part of activities by the two clubs for the impending 2016 Football season.

Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan inspired Sassoulo to a vital away to Inter Milan as they continue their surge up the log.

The former Samporia anchor man lasted 84 minutes in a well deserved 0-1 win at the San Siro.

Dominco Berardi continued his blistering form for the high flying Sassoulo with a 90 minute winner to seal a sixth place finish for the visitors in the Italian serie A.

Ghanaian youngster Bright Gyamfi starred for Inter Milan in a friendly defeat to PSG.

The 18 year old defender manifested his progress up the pecking order with composed performance against the dreaded Paris Saint Germain attack.

Inter Milan suffered 0-1 defeat at the Yassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Wednesday night during the mid season break.

The summer arrival from Primevera B continued his impressive form in the Nerrazuri set up with stellar performance against the Le Parisians.

Inter Allies striker Mohammed Sherif Deo has joined Richard Arhin on a trip to Egypt for trials with Arab Contractors.

The Tema based lanky attacker made the trip to the North African country with the hope of landing a permanent switch ahead of the 2016 domestic season.

Sherif enjoyed a bright start to his 2014 domestic domestic season but cooled off at the home streek end of the season.

The “Eleven is to One” forward racked in n9 impressive goals to announce himself to the football terrain and the watching world. The striker led the scoring chart for his Tema based in a goal feast 2014/15 FCPPL season, that saw Kofi Owusu register 19 goals to win the golden boot.

Sheriff impressive run in the league saw him included in the local version of the Black stars in their failed attempt to book a place in the 2016 CHAN in a double header against Cote d’Ivoire.

The Harbour based side prepared themselves for an imminent departure of their prized asset with the arrival of two Imports from Gambia and sierra Leone to beef up the attacking department.

He joins compatriot Richard Arhin from Aduana stars whose eight goals sealed a top four place for the 2009 domestic champions at the end of the 2014/15 FCPPL seaso.

Inter Allies seals deal with two foreign strikers

Inter Allies has secured the services of two foreign strikers ahead of the 2016 season.

The Tema based Premier League added Micheal Turray abd Prince Barrie from Gambia and Sierra Leone respectively. The “Eleven is to One” already beefed up the playing squad with Heart Of lion’s duo of Isaac Twum and Kwame Baah ahead of the upcoming domestic season.

The Harbour boys announced the arrival of the attacking duo ahead of the official unveiling to the teaming fans of the club. Sierra Leone international Prince Barrie joined from Kallon FC in a loan spell. Barrie comes with reputation as a fox in the box with the Leone stars and his FC Kallon side in the Sierra Leone domestic league.

Gambia forward Micheal Turray landed himself a possible three year deal at Tema after an impressive season with Real Du Banjul. The attacker has been revered domestically for his pace and tricks in the attacking third of the feild. The duo add up to the four players already captured by Inter Allies ahead of the new season.

The Eleven is to One parted ways with 12 players in a massive player exodus at the end of the a trying 2014/15 FCPPL season. The attacking duo will be battling Mohammed Sherif Deo for the number one forward ahead of the 2016 domestic football season.

Premier league campaigners, Inter Allies have renewed the contracts of two of their key players, Eliasu Fuseini and Wahab Ackwei.

Fuseini, one of the one of the club’s longest serving players, who has risen through the ranks of the team from the junior side for over five years.

“It’s been a good time all these years here and it feels like home.

“Am delighted for the extension as it shows the trust the club has for so I’ll do my best in returns.” He noted.

Fuseini is a talented forward who is perfect at both foot with fantastic dribbling skills.

Defender Wahab Ackwei has also been rewarded for a strong finish to last season with a contract extension.

Wahab, established himself as a versatile player featuring in several positions last season, from center back through to right back to defensive midfield.

“I’m very happy to have signed a new contract which will keep me here for a longer period.

“Management has shown great faith in me and I’m delighted that the team wants to keep me.” He noted.
