Inter Allies Vice President Delali Senaye has sent a get well message to on loan crocked midfielder Lord Ofosuhene.

The emotional club chief charged his on loan Falkenberg midfielder to come back stronger after a career threatening injury ruled him out for the rest of the Swedish campaign.

The Ghanaian import was stretched off for Falkenberg over the weekends in their 2-1 away defeat to Sundsvall.

Ofosuhene joined the Swedes on a six month long loan spell from Inter Allies but saw his Allsvenkan dreams shuttered just three matches into the season.

Emotional veep of Inter Allies, Delali Senaye however urged his on loan explosive midfielder to develop a strong mental set up and come back stronger than before.

“The entire Inter Allies family are with him in prayers during this trying times for him. We are behind him in prayers and I personally wish him a speedy recovery ahead of time. He should stay focused and make a strong come back after the injury setback,” Delali Senaye told sportscrusader.com.

Lord Ofosuhene played the opening two fixtures for Inter Allies before switching camp to Falkenberg in the Swedish Allsvenkan on a six month loan spell.

GHALCA Veep envisages competitive league after G6 Tourney

Vice Pesident of the Ghana league clubs Association (GHALCA), Isaac Koomson has predicted a very competitive 2016 season in the topflight if the clubs can sustain their impressive form in the off season tournaments.

The GHALCA Veep has tasked the premier league clubs to sustain their off season momentum ahead of next month’s kick off, if the excitement shown in the First Trust G6 is to be capitalised on.

Koomson also pleaded with club owners and cooperate Ghana to improve on the sporting infrastructures across the country in the interest of the league.

Koomson highlighted the swashbuckling form of the selected sides in the inaugural edition of the GHALCA invitational tourney as a landmark for the main league itself.

He said the performance from the clubs in the four day tournament is a testament of the highly anticipated competitive 2016 domestic football calendar.

He told sports crusader, “The expectations are high ahead of the season openers. All the clubs have done a very good recruitment exercise and are poised to perform in the coming season. It will be a very competitive and an exciting season and all should have access to watch it”.

Mr. Koomson added, “Technically, the teams benefited a lot from the First Trust G6 tournament. The coaches saw the strengths of their sides and they will be given the chance of correcting it before the season kicks off”.

GHALCA Veep craves for more media support for Womens League

The Vice President of Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Isaac Koomson has called on the media to patronise the Women football in a bid to sell the league to corporate Ghana.

The experienced administrator appealed to the media to allocate just a portion of their colossal attention to the Women football as the foetal National Womens League (NWL) end.

Koomsom however brushed aside any comparison made between the nation’s top flight and the National Women League.

The GHALCA veep pleaded for the priceless attention from the Ghanaian press towards the women football in terms of publicity and image projections.

Mr Koomson rallied the teaming press to flood the airwaves with information about Women football just as they do to their males counterparts.

The confident speaking GHALCA vice chairman, further charged the media not to wrongly compare women football with the already established male counterparts since it will be too harsh.

He told www.sportscrusader.com, “media can play advocacy role and not to compare and contrast with men football. They should publicise the women league on its own merits and that will sell the league.

The media can also help when they project the positives of Women football and publish just headline news about the women football. The key concept here is continuous publicity”.

2016 Elections Would Be Tough For NDC - Veep

The Vice President, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah Arthur has said next year’s general election was going to be tough for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He has therefore called for more work at the grass root level to ensure victory. “Anybody who tells you it’s going to be easy does not know what he’s talking about,” he stated.

He indicated that this was partly because the past few years had been very difficult for the NDC government with low international prices for gold, cocoa and oil which he noted affected government’s ability to make easy the economic pressures on the people.

The Vice President was speaking at a national conference of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the NDC in Cape Coast on Monday.

“The opposition can easily take advantage of this and use it against us.”

He said despite these challenges, the NDC had managed to invest heavily in infrastructure in the areas of education health and security.

He said with the insurgence of Boko Haram and ISIS activities around the world government had spent a lot of money to improve on the security system to make the nation safer.

He called for “action” in 2016 to ensure victory in 2016.

Development Guarantee

Mr Amissah Arthur said despite all these it was obvious that Ghanaians believed in the NDC as a party that guaranteed development especially in the rural communities.

He said President Mahama was a visionary leader with a committed team ready to ensure development got to every Ghanaian everywhere.

Ghanaians not decided

“We need the victory. More than half of Ghanaians have not decided yet who to vote for and we have to convince them that President Mahama is a safe pair of hands to manage the nation.”

Vice President Amissah Arthur said the NDC appreciated the role of the TEIN in the party and would resource it to communicate the achievements of the NDC to Ghanaians.

The General Secretary of the NDC, Mr Johnson Asiedu-Nketiah said the main opposition party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) needed the rule of law and not the rule of persons to keep them united.

He called on the Inspector General of Police to let Ghanaians know what had become of investigation of ammunitions found at the headquarters of the NPP.

The National Youth Organizer of the NDC, Sidii Abubakar Musa said the conference was part of forums to strategize to ensure a 57 percent win for President Mahama in the 2016 general elections.

He called on the party leadership to make resources available to TEIN to help them work for total victory in 2016.

The National Organizer of the NDC, Mr Kofi Adams, urged the members of TEIN to educate the communities on government projects and how these would change their lives.
